As far back as I can remember, I’ve always loved names.
As a kid, I went through a phase where I wanted to change my own name constantly—not because I didn’t like it, but because every name I heard felt like my new favorite. Names hold so much: a story, a history, a way to honor someone, or the chance for a fresh start. That early curiosity never really went away—in fact, over the years, through my work in healthcare and my love of languages, my interest only deepened and has grown into a genuine passion for helping people find names that feel right.
I believe naming should feel thoughtful, joyful, and personal—whether you’re naming a baby, yourself, a character in your story, and more. You are welcome here and I’m here to make the process feel creative, collaborative, and centered around you.

Who is a name consultant for? Why do I need one?
A name consultation is for anyone, really! Most people’s minds automatically go to baby names when they hear “name consultant,” and with good reason—choosing your child’s name is a monumental decision for parents to make. Choosing the right name in any situation can be fun, challenging, and, occasionally, quite stressful! My goal is to make this process as smooth and enjoyable as possible for everyone, from parents picking a name for their baby, to folks who are selecting a new identity-affirming moniker, to artists choosing a stage name, and more.
I also love contributing to the process when someone’s thinking through a nickname, a new last name, a pet’s name, a character name, a business or project title, a social media handle, and more—whatever you have in mind, we’ll explore it together and find what feels right.
Do you need a name consultant? People need name consultants like they need interior designers, real estate agents, and event planners—someone passionate to help you break down the big decisions into steps and take the stress off your plate, so you can focus on the exciting and fun parts of choosing a name. When should I start chatting with a name consultant?
It really depends on what your needs are; see Services for the average turnaround time for each package. There are no cut off deadlines for any particular package; you just want to leave yourself enough time for the process. For baby names, I recommend leaving yourself as much time as possible, but three months prior to expected delivery would probably be the latest I would wait.
If you need immediate assistance, you can either select a package under Services and select Yes to the rush question at the end of the survey, or please send me an email with the word “RUSH” in the subject line. Rush fees may apply during times of high demand.
(Currently as of April 2025, there are no wait times for any of the packages, but if that changes this will be updated accordingly.)
Can you really find the right name for anyone?
My job is all about helping you find the right name by offering guidance, experience, and support along the way. I’m here to make the process easier and more enjoyable, and to help you discover a name that feels just right.
Over the years I have enjoyed exploring names that come from all kinds of traditions, backgrounds, and naming practices. If your request involves something I’m not yet familiar with, I’ll always let you know upfront. In some cases, I may need extra time to explore the background more deeply to be sure I’m approaching it with the care it deserves. When that’s the case, the rate may be adjusted slightly to reflect that. If there ever comes a time when I feel I’m not the right fit for your specific naming needs, I’ll be honest and upfront about it. I’ll explain why, and of course, any deposits or payments will be fully refunded.
What if I don’t like any of the names you suggest?
Naming is a deeply personal and subjective process. My goal is to provide inspiration and guidance, but if none of my suggestions feel right, we can discuss what might work better. Depending on the package you choose, we can explore additional options or offer more tailored suggestions. Each situation is unique, and even if we don’t land on The Name during our consultation, it is my hope that the exploring we do during the process, including the suggestions I recommend, will bring you all the more closer to finding the perfect fit.
Do you offer gift certificates?
